…Zit Dave DeGobbi op dit monster in ieder geval droog. Met een berg fantasie, veel technisch en ruimtelijk inzicht en de lego skills uit zijn jongere jaren bouwde Dave met lego een ecovriendelijke, zelfvoorzienende stad op wielen!

Dave beschrijft zijn futuristische stad als volgt:

“I really enjoyed building this one! Its started out as going to be a steam-punk land dreadnought/battleship but evolved into a roaming city where self sustainability and Eco efficiency became the theme. I ended up calling it "Eco-punk" due to its Steamy inspired roots. Several playable features include functional powered treads for movement , full suspension and front and rear steering. Working crane, hanger slides for planes and lift from upper and lowers levels.”

Volgens Dave zal de lopende stad een trekpleister worden voor mensen die naar zeldzame luxe items hunkeren als bier, pizza en verse groenten. Ik zie deze rijdende stad ooit nog wel eens in productie gaan! Tot die tijd moeten we het met de foto’s van het lego schaalmodel doen:

“Main grandstand for the Aero 500 air race. Refreshments and food are behind. And the only known Bocce field in the northern wastes!”

“Side view with a scavanger coming to trade.”
